It's the little things

I love how it's the little things in life that remind me how GREAT God really is! Of course those huge, miraculous moments leave me no doubt of God's glory, but I love the gentle reminders He gives us everyday!

When I was waiting all those years for my turn to be a mommy, I knew it would be amazing! I knew there would be moments that made my heart smile and I knew that everyday would be a miracle. But really, I had no idea! Looking at life through a mommy's eyes is so different. Every second of every day is miraculous! Even the really tiring and trying moments!

Here are today's little moments that made me smile and feel God's goodness from my head to my toes!

*Walking into my little girl's room this morning and seeing her reaching for ME!
*Picking her up and feeling her snuggle up to me and lay her head on my shoulder like it's the most comfortable place to be.
*Baby dancing with our heads pressed together while she giggled and smiled at me.
*Getting a wet, slobbery and toothy kiss on the cheek from the love of my life.
*Holding my sleeping baby and watching how perfect and peaceful she is!
*Watching my little girl feed herself dinner and ask for more, all the while remembering the days we had to feed her through a tube.
*Hearing the sweetest little voice singing herself to sleep.
*Watching the man I love hold our little girl like she's the world's greatest treasure!

Life is good and God is better! I'm so thankful for His many, many blessings! My cup definitely runneth over!
