Merry Christmas!

Christmas Day, Molly Grace was 33 weeks along! That's so hard to believe! It's amazing what can happen in a year. Last year, we were going through infertility and having a really hard time. This year we are 8 months pregnant and overjoyed. Next year we will have a 10 month old! It's crazy how quickly life can change!

We had a wonderful Christmas. We are truly blessed with family that we enjoy being with! Somehow (maybe because we're both so impatient) it has turned into mine and Jamey's tradition to open our gifts to eachother on Dec. 23. Jamey's not very good at holding onto gifts very long - which is OK with me! He went out to the mall on his own and picked out the CUTEST pink and green diaper bag that we'll have monogrammed with her name! I love it! Our big gift to eachother is a new computer and video camera - we get to go pick them up tomorrow and I can't wait!!

Christmas Eve we always spend with my parents. We all bring appetizers and snack food and eat, eat, eat. Then we open gifts!

Christmas Day is spent with Jamey's family. We always have a really good time there, too. We always play a Dirty Santa game and this year we played with $50 gift cards. We came home with a Bass Pro gift card and a Kirklands - we're itching to go spend them!

Molly got her first stocking this year from her Mamaw (Jamey's mom). There were several sweet onesies, socks, bibs, mittens and hats in there. I can't believe that in less than 7 weeks we'll be dressing our sweet girl in those things!

Needless to say, we had a wonderful Christmas. God has been so good to us.

32 Weeks

I am 32 weeks along now! Wow how time flies! At today's check-up, Molly Grace measured at 34 weeks. She's been measuring 2 weeks ahead for awhile now. She also turned and is now head-down! She likes to keep her little booty and legs shoved under my ribs! I swear somedays it feels like they will snap off!

Her heartrate was 155. We recorded it on a little recorder that goes inside a Build-A-Bear. I can't wait to go have her bear made. How neat it will be to always have a recording of her heartbeat! I still haven't found anything that amazes me more than hearing that sound! I'm hoping the bear will be the one she sleeps with everynight and has to take everywhere with her!

This Christmas I am especially thankful. I remember the sadness and frustration we were feeling last year as we struggled with our infertility. All I could hope and pray for was a baby. I haven't forgotten those feelings and those hopeless moments - they only make me even more thankful!

As I was setting out my nativity scene a couple weeks ago, I couldn't help but think of Mary. That poor girl rode on a donkey 9 months pregnant! I'm uncomfortable enough in a warm, roomy SUV! I can't imagine going through what she did and then giving birth in a stable! But I can only imagine that she loved that little person in her belly as much as I love Molly Grace and that made it all worth it! And how thankful I am everyday for what she went through!

30 Weeks

I can't believe 30 weeks have passed. In 10 weeks (maybe less!) we will get to meet Molly Grace! Wow!

How far along? 30 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +8 1/2 lbs. - Dr. is a little concerned because I haven't gained any weight in my last 3 visists. I had actually lost a pound when I went 2 weeks ago.
Maternity clothes? About 1/2 of what I wear is maternity
Stretch marks? Not a single one!!! Fingers crossed it stays that way!
Sleep: Good until about 3 am...then my body rejects it!
Best moment this week: Discovering I can still shave my legs by myself - even though it's not easy! haha
Movement: Mostly in the middle of the night/early morning - not as much as before
Food cravings: Food in general these days!
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: Just some Braxton Hicks - but nothing new!
Belly Button in or out? in
What I miss: being able to bend over easily - putting on my shoes used to be so easy!
What I am looking forward to: Going back to the Doctor Tuesday (my birthday) and getting to hear her heartbeat again!
Weekly Wisdom: I'm all out!
Other Milestones: I got my Rhogam shot and I will now go to the doctor every 2 weeks!
